So, yeah, O’Neill’s, Kings Cross, is all of those things AND…

It’s teeming with Passion, with howls of laughter, amorous gestures, friendly teasing… fears, roars, and magnificent tomato ketchup aliveness.

A change in perception will change the world… To life!

No, it’s not a bad thing however much you were told to ‘PAY ATTENTION!’ or ‘STOP DREAMING!’

You and I need digression to keep our Passion juicily nourished. And, incidentally, help the little grey cells to keep firing on target.

I’m talking about cross-fertilisation here…

A cross fertilisation of ideas, perceptions and attitudes which sometimes might challenge you but will always help you to stay fresh to learning and the worlds inside and outside of you..

So, if you’re a Conservative read something from the socialist press. If you’re a gym bunny give track running a go. If you’re into child rearing, go listen to some classical music after the latest bout of ‘I want, I want…’ and hear what it tells you. If you’re into personal development studies… like me… go read a swash buckling novel or a sci-fi fantasy and check out the new message it has to inform your work.

To paraphrase the amazing Mae West, “A bit of digression can be wonderful!”

Your Passion demands of you curiosity, creativity and playfulness…

So, how are you going to digress today?

The approach from the place of Passion, relationships and spirituality is…

If you have nothing worth saying, stay shtoum!

But you can’t create rapport by mechanically carrying out some physical gestures matching or mirroring the other.  Or by similar devices with their use of language.

You have to feel rapport with your Passion for real rapport to happen…

When you connect with your own vital life energy not only will you become a rapport ‘magnet’… people oh so want to know you… you will also have a thirst for connecting with others.  You will be curious.  You will hunger to get to know the other before having yourself understood.

With Passion, ego stands aside.  Your desire for rapport comes from your heart.  Not even one tiny itsy-bitsy what’s-in-it-for-me in mind…

Now that’s my kinda rapport!  Standing in your magnificence so that others can stand in theirs.

The bottom line of fulfilling work is that it contains an expression of your passion… Your mission on earth, your beam-me-up-Scottie!  And that comes from your Passion, your vital life energy geyser; the pulsating life energy which flows through your arteries and veins.

If that’s not happening, does it mean you have to dump your current job, career, or life pronto?  Not necessarily… unless you really really really want to.

Always always, what you see outside yourself is a mirror of what’s going on inside yourself… And is a clue about some of your potential which is just yearning to come through and be used by you in the world.  Feeling stuck is always but always an inside job!

So, ask yourself, “Where is my Passion?”  Then find ways to express that gorgeous life energy of yours through your work.

Have a core team of colleagues, and personal friends, who have the qualities of a rich, supportive and solid inner circle.  And I do mean solid… None of those flaky or emotional vampire or what’s-in-it-for-me meanies!

Top 7 criteria for a great inner circle means having people who…

1. Passionately stand for the greater good and whose values rock.
2. Have experience of life’s ups and downs and know how to roll with them.
3. Love and value other beings way-way over material things.
4. Bring a smorgasbord of gifts, skills and talents to the relationship party.
5. Have an eye for your vision, the bigger picture, and can hack the detail.
6. Are steadfast in themselves and don’t get swayed by the herd’s opinions.
7. Are loyal to you and able to say the things other people just won’t… and don’t!

Woman, with people like that, behind you and for you, being alive with Passion, living your passions and changing the world are all no brainers!

And, if I could maintain this state, which so far I haven’t been to do… I would have to be a totally actualised being, I guess… what could I achieve?   Apart from exploding, of course.

Nearer to Earth, spinning lazily in orbit, my energy feels more in my hands than the Universe’s.  And when I’m asked what 3 words symbolise  my vision for 2013, I reply…
