Before I started Sharon Eden’s Heart Racer programme, I felt very blocked creatively – as a journalist, I write all day, but try as I might, I couldn’t find the peace of mind to sit down and do the creative writing I longed to do. I felt as if I was banging my head against a very sturdy wall.

The programme highlighted for me the things that are important in my life (not what I thought should be important)… I also clarified that I do want to write fiction. Sharon taught me how to turn negative beliefs into positives and how to spot the signs that I may be reverting to my old style of thinking.

Just hours on and I was using my time more effectively. I was also treating myself a lot better and had stopped putting myself last.

A few weeks later… I started writing regularly every day – just for half an hour, but just 30 minutes of writing random scenes left me on such a high with renewed confidence. Sharon was lovely to work with – her enthusiasm is catching!
