Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) emphasises the need for rapport in relationships. Throughout history major philosophies and psychologies made the same point. The Greeks talked about it… and Neanderthal Man probably grunted about it too.
But you can’t create rapport by mechanically carrying out some physical gestures matching or mirroring the other. Or by similar devices with their use of language.
We fell about laughing so much my belly ached. And all because of a shared passion!
Talking with my colleague and friend Zoe Dawes, the Quirky Traveller , travel writer, blogger and coach. BTW… She travel writes like you’ve not read before and she runs an absolutely creative smorgasbord of a blogging workshop.
